OASIS Management Board

OASIS Management Board comprises individuals representing all national agencies and user groups (see Membership below).

The purpose of the Board is to provide oversight and guidance, to ensure the system is working, to examine trends in use, and to discuss how OASIS contributes to the wider landscape of historic environment research and practice.

Trends and statistics for the use of OASIS have historically been collated by individual national agencies, and presented at Board meetings for discussion of major issues.

All of these are available under the relevant page for each agency/country that uses OASIS. For examples, see the England Monitoring Reports or Scotland Monitoring Reports.

As of 2021, a new online Dashboard is being created that allows users to view and download customised statistics relevant to their organisation and remit. Biannual reports covering the entirety of the OASIS system will be produced moving forward, and available under the ADS Monitoring Reports section below.

Biannual reports produced by the ADS on systems issues, helpdesk trends, and general levels of use.

The group welcomes new members especially those from archaeological practitioners and researchers, including community groups or partnerships. The Board meets twice a year (Spring and Autumn), and meetings are now a hybrid physical and virtual format to allow those who cannot travel a chance to attend.

If you are interested in joining the Board, please contact oasis@ads.ac.uk for more information.
